LAYER/STUDIO is an independent studio in Riga, Latvia, creating sculptural objects with digital tools and hands-on finishing. Layer Bear is made here in small batches—not pulled from anonymous warehouse stock.

WHY WE SHOW THE PROCESS

A real object from a real workshop.

We believe trust starts with showing how an object is actually made. Our printers, shelves and packing bench are part of the product story—not a staged backdrop.

The horizontal layer lines on every Bear are an honest trace of the printing process. Small variations can appear from piece to piece, making each figure subtly individual.

Printed in parts

Each component is produced layer by layer in our workshop. Printing in separate sections gives the 70 cm figure its scale and clear silhouette.

Freshly printed parts are collected, matched and inspected before a Bear moves to final preparation.

Our studio and production are based in Riga, Latvia. Keeping every step under one roof lets us inspect each order and send it directly from our workshop to your space.
